SOUND QUALITY ISSUES WITH IPHONE 12 AND MADE FOR IPHONE HEARING DEVICES

Apple has confirmed the iPhone 12 line-up is suffering from audio problems with Made for iPhone hearing devices

An article by Gordon Kelly published by Forbes on Nov 17, 2020 www.forbes.com reported sound quality issues with Iphone 12 and Made for Iphone Hearing devices. Apple issued a warning that “loud static, interrupted or intermittent audio, garbled audio” can be heard with their Made for Iphone hearing devices when using Iphone 12. The sound quality issues are experienced by hearing aid users wearing different brands of hearing aids.

Frustrated Iphone 12 users wearing Made for Iphone hearing devices vent out their frustrations on Reddit and Apple Support Forums.

According to Forbes, Apple is aware of the issue and will provide a fix for the problem with a software update. However, it is still unknown as to when it will become available.

If you have a Made for Iphone Hearing Device and are thinking of upgrading your Iphone, it might be a good idea to hold off until the problem is resolved.
